This team is an IHSA-sponsored and regulated activity. Saint Viator belongs to the Metro-North League and competes against other teams using the IHSA format in topic areas of science, history, geography, fine arts, literature, politics, and math.  There are both varsity and junior varsity teams, which meet on Wednesday mornings as well as on Thursday afternoons during the weeks of scheduled competitions. Our season is September through April. We also help moderate both the 8th and 6th & 7th grade Saint Viator Scholastic Bowl tournaments and conducts the annual Pi Day fundraiser. Students are invited to join Scholastic Bowl and attend tryouts in the fall.
  • Science Club

Science Club provides a number of enrichment opportunities to cover a range of scientific interests and is not a group solely for those planning a career in science. Many of our activities are integrated with the STEM curriculum and allow for friendly competition among members. Some possible activities are egg drop competition, trebuchet design, mousetrap-powered cars, and model bridge engineering. Members can suggest projects for consideration.
